Panthers Game
September 13, 2008

The Panthers play teams from Homewood, to Bibb County to Demopolis, to Greensboro.

Frank Smith and Anita Lewis both feel that the youth benefit not only from playing the various sports, but also from being exposed to the many opportunities and various learning experiences that they get from traveling to the various areas to play.

It is emphasized that the programs are for all the youth of Greene County, not just youth living in the Greene County Housing Authority.

Future plans for the partnership include both motivational programs and drug prevention programs as well as after school tutorials to help the youth make the most out of their school opportunities.

For photos of the Panthers in action on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Greene County High School Stadium, see the Football Photo Gallery.
